Microsoft 365 done properly. Migrated without losing mail, configured so it is actually secure, and administered so leavers do not keep access for months.
What this covers
- Migration to Microsoft 365 from on-premise Exchange, Google Workspace or a hosting provider
- Tenant configuration, including the security defaults most migrations skip
- User and licence administration, and right-sizing licences you are paying for and not using
- SharePoint and OneDrive setup with a permission structure that makes sense
- Email authentication: SPF, DKIM and DMARC records configured and verified
- Cloud backup for 365 data
Email authentication is usually broken
Worth singling out, because we find this constantly. Businesses have a DKIM record configured in their mail platform that was never actually published in DNS, or an SPF record that no longer matches the services they use. The platform shows a green tick. The record does not exist. Mail still sends, so nobody notices, but it is being scored down and it will start failing outright as recipients tighten enforcement.
Checking this takes minutes. We do it as standard on every 365 engagement.
Licence waste
The other common find: licences assigned to people who left, or premium licences where a basic one would do. Reviewing this usually pays for a chunk of the engagement.
You own the tenant
Your Microsoft tenant is registered to your business, with your billing and your global admin account. We work in it with our own named account, which you can revoke. We do not hold your tenant hostage as a retention strategy.
